Everything was amazing! The food, the service, the atmosphere… everything was just perfect! We had the fish and chips and grilled chicken. Every dish was cooked on the spot with fresh products. If you visit Gozo, then you should definitely visit Maya’s Kitchen. It seems like a small family business, so definitely worth to visit when in Gozo and support small businesses!! Highly recommend, food was good, price as well, the staff are really really friendly, they keep the tables clean, and I also saw how thoroughly they clean the milk system in the coffee machine. They have two nice parrots (also care about them, when strong wind came they cover them). Local nice atmosphere 🙂

What a great little spot! I came across it walking around and the staff are so friendly. The food is also amazing, I got a lemonade and the rabbit pasta for lunch and would absolutely come back for this pasta again. The pasta sauce is so flavorful and the rabbit and pasta are perfectly cooked! The dessert was also incredible, I got the imqaret with ice cream. The imqaret was freshly made and I could easily have eaten 3 of these. Highly recommend stopping by for a meal if you’re in the citadel area!

So pleased we stopped here for lunch whilst visiting Gozo! People were friendly and welcoming and the food was fresh, great value and delicious! We really enjoyed the tuna Ftira and fresh lemonade and traditional Gozo coffee! Would definitely visit again!

We ate here today after visiting Gozo island. Staff Was extremely friendly and kind to us. We had two fish and chips orders, as well as fresh lemonade and a beer. The lemonade was strong, sour but that should validate its freshnes. Fish and chips were tasty and prepared quickly. We paid around 35 Euros alltogether, which is amazing price considering other restaurants are way more expensive because of the location. Ambient lets you feel cozy and welcome, truly nice experience to just sit there and enjoy your time.

Really enjoyed the rabbit stew, a classic local dish from Gozo. The staff were friendly and the service was fast. Prices were reasonable and the portions matched the price well. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Gozo.
